Reservations are almost always
recommended. Even if you call on the
same day sometimes it can make a
difference between getting a site or
not. Who wants to drive to a campground,
only to find that there isn't
a site available? If you have any of the
following requirements, a reservation
should be made: big rig sites, full
hookup sites; special requests such as a
pull thru site, secluded site,
a
specific favorite site; and of course,
Camping Cabins.
How
soon you need to reserve
depends on the dates you're interested
in. Holiday weekends, particularly
Memorial Day and Labor Day book early so
as soon as you know you're coming, make
your reservation. These times are very
busy with our "regular" local friends,
many of whom book their favorite site up
to a year in advance. Also, don't forget that
Columbus Day weekend in October
(6th-9th) is a
popular New England holiday.
Those
who have smaller campers like vans, pop
ups, pick up campers and RVs under 25
feet have the most leeway, particularly
if you can "rough it" with just electric
and water!
Reservations are accepted year round and
up to a year in advance.

Will I get
satellite reception?
Not
likely. The campground is heavily wooded
and does not have a clear view of the
southern sky.
